Save custom widgets or Widget Groups
When combining widgets into repetitive groups (like a login box), it would be great to be able to save the widget group as a new widget to use in later mockups. I could also see this extended to allow for more completely customized widgets and widget groups to be created and shared by users. Imagine a 'hand sketch' widget group or 'desktop app' widget group that could be uploaded to your account for use.

I think that if done well, (everything on mockingbird is done well so this would probably be too) this could take care of several popular requests. For instance, a custom widget creator would have to allow (svg?) image uploading. The most basic custom widget would be an uploaded image. Then, if we could select several widgets, and then, next to the group button, we could click "Save as Custom Widget" we would be able to make new widgets composed of groups of widgets. Ideally we would be able to edit the widget and the edits would be made globally. So, if we created a custom "site header" widget, and then changed a link, that change would be reflected on all pages which include the widget. That takes care of the "Templates" request. Implementing these custom grouped widgets would also require implementation of the "Group Resizing" request. This would also cover requests for specific widgets, since many could just be created. Another upside of going this route is that you guys could see which custom widgets were being created most often and know which ones should be implemented into the core widget set. Also sharing could be implemented, as others have suggested. Just thought it might be worth keeping this big picture in mind, and maybe implementing the image upload request as a custom widget of sorts. I know this would be a ridiculous amount of work, but it would be awesome. Thanks for all the great work so far.

This would be my favorite feature. Can't wait for it to be there.

It would be nice to be able to style the buttons and other elements. I suppose if we can create custom widgets from scratch, then we can style it however we want (with color and everything).

This is something we want to do as well, just haven't gotten around to it. Will keep you guys updated.

Hello,
I've only just begun using this. I've bounced it round my work who currently run iPlotz.
The instant feedback was good, with a few mock ups bashed out straightaway.
However 3 out of the 4 Project Managers mentioned this to me after their first run on it.
Hope this help.
Tim.
